That was really awesome. I have always had this grudge against computers, but that looks great. You can put that on my Christmas list.

I'm going to have to get this one.

I have been wrestling lately with the fact that my desire for more, spiritually has not been coupled with an effort to really DO anything differently.

It would be nice to hear from a doer.

Good taste in books, preacher man.
I just finished this book called the pirate coast about this secret mission that the marines did on the shores of tripoli, (you know like the song) during tom jefferson's presidency. No deeply religious connotation, just well written historical accounts.

"The authorities that exist have been established by God." I have a real hard time with this verse and I begin to question God (breaking one of my New Years resolutions). Why would God put Sadam as leader?

Here's the thing... I haven't seen anyone post a comment on this blog in a while! I don't know what that means, because after the little incident on the discussion board :) I recieved all kinds of phone calls from people who never posted in their lives, so I know people are reading!!! Anyway... Just from your review of the movie, it sounds pro democratic. Just because no parties are mentioned, doesn't mean a thing. I'm not saying there were no truths to what was said and shown, but a true documentary has a solution at least hypothesized at the end, I assume this one did not, except get us out of Iraq... I could be wrong though. There are no sales pitches at recruiting! How stupid do you have to be, to believe that crap anyway, and stupid is a nice term!!! If you went into the military because you were lied to by the recruiter, then you're probably not the sharpest tool in the shed! You go to a recruiter, kind of like a guidance counselor, you already have your own ideas, now you need help! After he or she gives you the info, then you do your own research! Whoooooo would sign their life away for 4-6 years, without doing any kind of research what so ever???????????????????????????? DO NOT feel sorry for these people!!! Can you honestly say, you would join the military and think you would never have to go to war or that there was no chance of it?? Folks I joined to go to war, that's why I joined what I did!!!! Who wants to join the military to sit around? If you are one of these people, it sucks to be you! You signed the dotted line, accept it, because you have to live with it, you don't have a choice!!! :)))) I don't see a moral dillema... If someone points a gun at you, what do you do? If your answer was uh.... Then tell me were you would like your flowers sent!!! I'll tell you this fact! No one is in Iraq killing people, who didn't directly sign up to be in a fighting BN!!! If you have an issue with possibly shooting people, then why in the world would you sign up to go into the infantry! It's all so easy, but made so complicated by people who aren't going to be productive members of society anyway, now they're looking for "poor you" sympathizers!! DOn't be one of these people!!!!!!

A Third Day song includes these words, "...and you feel like the days you had were not enough, when you said goodbye." I'm so thankful to be surrounded with fellow believers. How could we live if we grieved like the world, without hope? Thanks for your thoughts, Dennis.
