MHCC's Student Leadership Team

  

We meet Wednesdays at 4:30p

The Deep is A TEAM.
To really understand and live out the teachings of Jesus, you have to interact with others.  This leadership team practices Biblical accountability, encouragement, and unity, and is working on modeling and helping to facilitate that lifestyle in the rest of the group.
   
The Deep is CASTING A VISION.
These students are asking some hard questions and seeking God's answers together.  These questions include:  What has God equipped us to do as a group?, How are we already doing those things?, and How do we need to refocus, work harder, etc.?
   

The Deep is LEARNING TO LEAD WISELY.
Students in The Deep are being challenged to deepen and strengthen their faith, their Bible knowledge, their integrity, and their influence over their peers.  Then have been given authority to help shape the direction, culture, and mission of our youth group.
   
The Deep is HAVING FUN.
This team also has a voice and several responsibilities in choosing, planning, and leading our special events -- plus, there will be additional special events that are only for active members of The Deep.
