OUR BELIEFS
We don’t add any denominational titles or creeds to our name; we are Christians only—but we do not believe we are the only Christians.

We seek unity with all who follow the clear truths of scripture. We offer humility and flexibility when interpreting and applying vague passages. In all things, we offer love.
1. The Bible is the inspired word of God, "a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path."
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us
what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our
lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us
to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and
equip his people to do every good work.
2 Timothy 3:16

Your word is a lamp to guide
my feet and a light for my path.
Psalm 119:105
Then God said, “Let us make human beings in our image, to be like us. They will reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the wild animals on the earth, and the small animals that scurry along the ground.” So God created human beings in his own image. In the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Then God blessed them and said, “Be fruitful and multiply. Fill the earth and govern it. Reign over the fish in the sea, the birds in the sky, and all the animals that scurry along the ground.” Then God said, “Look! I have given you every seed-bearing plant throughout the earth and all the fruit trees for your food. And I have given every green plant as food for all the wild animals, the birds in the sky, and the small animals that scurry along the ground everything that has life.” And that is what happened. Then God looked over all he had made, and he saw that it was very good! And evening passed and morning came, marking the sixth day.
Genesis 1:26-31

For everyone has sinned; we all fall
short of God’s glorious standard.
Romans 3:23
2. Every person has worth as a creation of God, but "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
3. Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God who died for our sins and arose from the dead. Those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord find total forgiveness, purpose and transformation in this life, and eternal life with Him in heaven.
For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one
and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. God sent his
Son into the world not to judge the world, but
to save the world through him.
John 3:16-17

Let me now remind you, dear brothers and sisters, of the Good News I preached to you before. You welcomed it then, and you still stand firm in it. It is this Good News that saves you if you continue to believe the message I told you—unless, of course, you believed something that was never true in the first place. I passed on to you what was most important and what had also been passed on to me. Christ died for our sins, just as the Scriptures said. He was buried, and he was raised from the dead on the third day, just as the Scriptures said. He was seen by Peter and then by the Twelve. After that, he was seen by more than 500 of his followers at one time, most of whom are still alive, though some have died. Then he was seen by James and later by all the apostles.
Last of all, as though I had been born at the
wrong time, I also saw him.
1 Corinthians 15:1-8
If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised him
from the dead, you will be saved.
Romans 10:9

Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins
and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of
Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then
you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
4. Those accepting Christ should begin the lifelong process of following Him by repenting of their sins, confessing their faith in Him, and being baptized.
5. Jesus Christ will one day return and reign forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died. We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died. For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the believers who have died will rise from their graves. Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
So encourage each other with these words.
